My daughter’s dentist recommended an ortho visit due to a lot of over crowding in her mouth. So I made an appt at Algonquin Orthodontics, and I am SO glad we did. Dr. Shammaa suggested braces and an expander to allow more space for her adult teeth to come in. She had them on for about 9 months, and I am blown away on how amazing her teeth look. She now has plenty of room for her adult teeth to come in, AND gorgeous straight teeth. Dr Shammaa and hid staff are incredible, and so nice and kind. I am so happy we found this office. Highly highly recommended!

We have had an AMAZING experience at Algonquin Orthodontics. From first evaluation all the way to retainer fittings. We visited three other local popular ortho doctors including two in the Crystal Lake / Lake in the Hills area. Dr Shammaa and his staff are kind, caring and fun! Dr. Shammaa talked over my sons unique case and prepared a plan that was understandable with a timeline that was met as promised. My son is thrilled to start Junior year and have school pics without braces! The office is beautiful, and all the chairs face large windows to a preserved land space, nice calm nature for the patients to look out to. It is always easy to communicate with the office by phone or text. I have always been answered with any issue quite quickly even while on vacation in Canada! My son had a painful poking wire and the staff helped talk us thru a quick fix like McGyver with what we had at the hotel. Algonquin is very lucky to have Dr. Shammaa serve our kids who need braces. His braces off day was made very special with a box of Crumbl cookies!

We had the BEST experience with our daughters phase 1 treatment. The entire team truly cares for each of their patients. Dr took his time, explained everything before hand to my daughter who has a lot of anxiety and told her what to expect her next visit so she was comfortable when coming. The entire team works together and my daughter loved how special they made her feel when coming in. The bonds they build with their patients shows everytime we are in there with others. She went from being terrified from a bad past experience elsewhere to LOVING her braces journey here. In and out fast but not rushed. Scheduling was always easy. Highly recommend this office. Great job you guys!! We are so thankful for you. She is loving her new smile!

Dr. Shammaa and his staff have been simply wonderful to work with. I have one who has completed treatment - his teeth look amazing and my other two are coming along beautifully. Dr. Shammaa is patient, gentle, extremely detailed, and always takes the time to explain everything throughly and answer all of our questions. Scheduling is easy and flexible - they have always been able to accommodate my three at once, saving me a lot of time and energy! The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and they really get to know their patients, it doesn’t feel like a smile factory (like the orthodontist I went to as a kid). Everything is super clean and prices are more than fair for the area. We are so happy we chose Algonquin Orthodontics!

We have been going to this practice for 7 years and highly recommend them!!! Just recently went back for my youngest to get his braces. They make it so easy to schedule appointments, talk or text with staff. I LOVE that they have that option. I get caught up in daily hustle and bustle and forget to actually call. However, I can send a quick text and know that I will be taken care of by Annie and the rest of the staff! Dr. Shamma is great with his patients. Easy payment schedule and very affordable! You won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Shammaa is an amazing orthodontist. I took my daughter to him for her braces and he was so nice and friendly! He was very knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed. Definitely recommend him!

Algonquin Orthodontics has been a great experience. My daughter’s teeth look great! I was always able to schedule convenient appointments and the cost was less compared to other local orthodontists.
